In the morning, leaving hotel to visit Xijiang Regional museum, which is the best museum in the region, contains more than 50 thousand historical relics witnessing the mysterious past of silk road, One of the highlights of the museum is the mummies from 3800 years back, were found from the Taklamakan desert. After museum drive to Red hill, there you can have the bird eyes to see whole Urumqi. After lunch go to the Urumqi grand Bazaar, it is located at the southern part of the city, and it is the original part of the Urumqi, populated mainly by Uyghurs. At the Grand bazaar you can see various handcrafts, special teas, dry fruits etc….from Xinjiang area as well as around countries.
