The geographical center of the Asian continent is located in Yongfeng village of Urumqi county 35 km away from Urumqi city. The Sign tower is the core of the Asia geographical center, it is 18 meters high, is composed of four column, four sides are in "A" shape, means "Asia". Because the Asia heart is furthest place from the ocean, and has strong continental feature, it’s special geographical position gives people impressive scientific implication and mystery, has a rich history and culture, is the key tourist area of Urumqi.
